Update problem

Hello,
When i click on "Check for update", i have this error message : "windows can't find \update.exe".
So i can't download the new version of the game and can't play on the PBEM
Can someone help me please !

In the meantime, an alternative is to use the following link:
http://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/Strategi ... -v1.10.zip
You'll just have to decompress the downloaded file and then run the installer by double clicking on it and it should update the game for you.

The problem is that on Both Matrix and Slitherine, the downloads take time to start working and then download a 0kb file. An empty file holder is downloaded from Matrix.

Hello there
I'm not sure if you are still having difficulties with this but having spoken with our production team if you still cannot update they think it might be down a missing or corrupted update.exe and the advice is to reinstall
Your single player save game files should be safe but to be honest I'm not sure about PBEM
Your single player saves (assuming default installation if you are using Matrix rather than Steam version) are here : Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War In Europe\Save
You might want to copy any single player game files to a safe location 'just in case' whilst you reinstall
