Hi.

The main portable fire weapon of the spanish army at the end of the XV century was the spingard not the arquebus [:-] (it only became popular around 1510).

On another hand I miss another fire weapon: the escopeta: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escopeta Very common in the spanish army between 1505-1530.

Please fix this historical error. [:(]

This information was taken from Ejércitos y armadas de los reyes católicos.

There is no error. Arquebus is used in the game as a general term for the earlier types of firearm, of which there were many different types for which there were many different names in different countries.

Ok, thanks for the info. I suppose "carbine" is another general term for light guns since carbines were only available in the spanish army at the end of the XVII century. Early spanish cavalry tend to use light arquebus and escopetas.
