I want to start another game of Triumph of the Reich. So I'm searching for at least 2 other committed players and that for Allied side and the Russian side. I handle all of the Axis sides. Also I would like to play with E-mail protection on and give maybe mayor countries 10 and minor countries 5 time to save the game. So mistakes can be made and corrected but not to many times.

You like to join as player of Western Allies.

I would like to vive it a try. I have been playing GD1938 for some time and I am playing a test game of Deep Battle but have never tried this game. I like to play USA but I will take what ever position is open.

If you are starting a new game the latest version is available on Dropbox as Triumph v1e 28 October 2017.atzip.

The Dropbox Readme file lists alterations that have been done.

Sounds good to me. Looking forward to resisting fascism on the bitter cold steppes of Russia. Rufus, since you are on the allies side, can I rely on you for wisdom as to the difference between this and GD 1938?

@ ArmouredLion: Played two games as Axis. So I might give some hint how my opponents stopped my advance and where it will be difficult for SU to prevent too high losses of units and terrain.

I have downloaded the latest version that is available on VR Designs. Is this correct? Also how do we communicate and share files?

Version at VR Designs is V1d. Icym told he had uploaded v1e to dropbox. Have asked him where we can find this version.

I will set FoW ON, PBEM protection ON, Passwords ON. Thats ok for you?

Can we agree on a house rule that units of neutral sides will not be used for spying? Playing two games where the player of SU and Turkey uses Turkish navy for spying in Italien seas. Not really fair play I think.

Fine by me with house rules. Do you have my email for the drop box?

We can wait for the latest version if everybody is ok with that
the options look fine by me, maybe clarifying how many saves in turn we all can agree to

It's likely obvious, but mind is scattered with ten projects... where can I get the manual?

In the process of trying to get the Dropbox links working I may have spammed a few people with Dropbox invites. Sorry again (although the last invite sent to RufusTFirefly might actually work, hopefully).

Dropbox folder for the game is created and access is given to all players and to Ian. New version and manual are copied to folder.

In case I set PBEM protection ON we cannt save inbetween. So I will set it as OFF. Cannt fix a number of how often the turn might be opened. (if there is any option, please tell me.)

I want to go for PBEM PROTECTION ON, we can agree on a housrull saying that about 10 times for GB, US, Comenw, Germ and USSR and 5 times a save for Minor countries is acceptable. This makes some restarts/retake moves and saves in turns possible but not over doing it.

DRommel, you seem to be confused about what PBEM PROTECTION: ON, does.

Basically it prevents saving, until you end the turn. So there is no need for a house rule, as saving would be impossible.

What you want is a house rule, without the PBEM PROTECTION: ON.

you are right, it's impossible to save in turns
you can only start over again
Ok then it's best to start with protection off,
for the large countries it's difficult not to go for this in turn saves because of the large scale of this scenario.

Passwords ON, PBEM protection OFF, FoW ON, Extra Supply Card ON, Intelligence ON
