ORIGINAL: Sabre21

I decided to do a full reinstall of the game and patches.

I want to walk thru the steps I did to make sure I did it all correct, it has been a while since I've done this.

First I uninstalled the game and then had to manually remove all the game files.

Second I reinstalled the base game to version 1.0.

Third I downloaded and installed the latest official patch bringing it up to v 2.4.

Fourth I reinstalled beta patch 2.6.1 from the members area.

Finally I put my netplay log on name and password into the NetPlayReg file in the WIF folder.

So did I miss anything? So far I can log onto the netplay forum without any problem and create a solo game.

I think you went a little excessive.

Re-installing the original CD content and then 2.6.1 was all you needed to do.

You did not need to to install 2.4

That was the point of 2.6.1, which was to do a full upgrade from 1.0 to current.
