Germany At War: Operation Barbarossa 1941 is an elegant turn-based design, inspired by classics such as Panzer General, but with more of a historical focus. You command the German forces through a branching historical campaign covering the entire 1941 campaign as well as part of the 1942 campaign. Another observation - at least my computer refuses to play the Petsamo scenario for Soviets. Does anyone else have the same problem?

To be honest, I have really never played this scenario (Petsamo) before the last patch. There were too many slowings down, unplayable on my computer : too many units or/and map too big ?

The Macchi Fighter is only available in Battailion size (same problem for Finnish Bf109E):

Hi folks,

the Petsamo map crashes here, too. It works in the editor, but you cannot play it. The logs do not report anything that hints to an error. Given the size of the map, which was on the edge of playabilty, and all the new stuff included in 1.08, my first assumption is that some memory quantity has to be expanded. We will investigate and fix this for 1.09.

@terminator: ok, this means we adopt a new aircraft doctrine and deliver planes with at least batallion & regiment size.

- I approve this new "aircraft doctrine".
Planes with Batallion size can be used mainly as Recon Unit or possibly attack transport units.

- Bug with Deploy ground :
When we create a new map and just move the mouse, it makes drawings on the minimap :

I had the same problem as Marechal with the Beta on one of my computers mobile for the installation of the patch 1.08.
There were two messages telling to me that I missed two dll (with 1.07 no problem).
