I don't readily see it either, but I use 'Prt Scr' so I am not even sure if there is an SC3 way to do it. There is this [for the Editor]:

2.3.18. Map > Generate Full Map
Screenshots (F8)
To take screenshots of the whole map, press F8.
A subfolder called Screenshots containing
multiple images of your map will be created in
the folder: User\Documents\My Games\Strategic
Command WWII: War in Europe

I tried this. Doesn't seem to work in game. I looked in the manual and it seems this trick may only work for the Editor.

Hey, I know this one.

<F4> to remove interface
<Ctrl><PrtScn>
<F4> to return interface
<esc> to get to desktop
Open MS Paint (or similar program)
Paste
Modify
Save as jpg (forum won't allow png files)

Download Greenshot. It's a very nice tool to use for screenshots.

All,
Thanks for the suggestions.

I downloaded Greenshot. Lots of capabilities which will take time to fully understand. It is shareware asking only that you support development but not requiring it.

I use Roxio Creator for video capture. It works great. I think you need to pro version of 4 or higher.

It appears that this might actually be an undocumented feature of the game, but if you use the F11 or F12 keys it will then create a screenshot of the game, either an PNG or JPG respectively, in your USER folder.

Typically the following folder:

C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War In Europe\Screenshots
