Bloodybill and I upgraded tp 2.7.0 and continued to play a Global war game originated under 2.5.5 using Netplay.
We tried to start a new game using the latest update, but found that the game still locked up at the very same place during loading as it did the last 2 updates.
We had to go back to 2.5.5. and start a new game with that, then we updated to 2.7.0.
During about 3 to 4 hours of play, we had the game lock up at various points over 20 times. Some occurred during air engagements during naval combat, another occurred when I moved a Soviet ground unit into the Baltic States to claim them just after moving a unit into eastern Poland for the same purpose.
We had quite a few problems with one side or the other getting out of synch with the other player on Netplay.
So after several hours of frustration, we gave up on 2.7.0 and went back to 2.5.5 to start a new game then once the game got going upgraded to 2.6.1.

Attached are 2 game saves for the problem we are having in Netplay with the game going out of synch in regards to the Baltic countries.
Once the games are loaded, you should be in the Allied land phase. Advance to the Soviet land movement and move either of the Soviet units near Latvia into that country. Once one is moved, note that the Axis player does not see that unit inside Latvia. At this point, the allied player can continue to move pieces but the allied player wont see any of it. Eventually the Soviet player will see a crash pop up occur and the Allied player cannot advance past his impulse.
Now prior to moving the Soviet unit into Latvia, if any other Soviet unit is moved within Russia or even down in Persia, the allied player can see these moves occur until such time as a Soviet unit is moved into Latvia.
We have never seen this bug before until we upgraded to 2.7.0. What's crazy now is we went back to 2.5.5 to start a new game then upgraded to 2.6.1 and now we are experiencing that same Baltic bug in 2.6.1 as we did in 2.7.0. Again, we never had this problem before today.
In playing 7 hours today, we only managed to get to impulse 7 of the first turn due to all the problems we encountered.

I have fixed both of these.
There will be a new Official Update coming in the next few days (weeks?) with version # 02.07.01.00 which fixes these bugs. The only changes from version 02.07.00.00 are for these two bugs - NetPlay changes only.

Bill and I restarted afresh again today and played 8 hours on a Global war game on Netplay.
Since we live only a few miles apart, we have our phones on and talking with each other as we progress thru the game. We discovered that during air to air combat involving bombers and fighters that as the fight winds down and planes are being sent home from both sides, that windows pop up on both machines with active green buttons and if we simultaneously start pressing green buttons, the game goes out of synch and crashes. We then found a way around this by letting one player press the green buttons and making sure any actions are complete with that player, then the other player presses his green buttons and completes any actions. So far it seems to work and the game doesn't crash or lock up. We haven't tried it yet with carrier air combat, but so far resolving air attacks with mixed fighters, bombers and even ground AA seems to work as long as we let one person or the other finish any action before the other starts in.
The other issue I posted above reference the game going out of synch when moving a Soviet unit into the Baltic states to claim them is a problem we can't seem to find a work around for. We tried different units, we tried entering Lithuania rather then Latvia, we tried doing the claim on Poland then the Baltic states in different and the same impulses...all with no luck. Right now we are on turn 2 and I as the Allied player still haven't claimed the Baltic states and waiting on a patch for it hopefully soon.
Is there a time limit on when the Soviets can claim the Baltic States so long as the Germans don't declare war on any of the Baltic states or the Soviets themselves?

There's no time limit.

There's no time limit.
True, for as long as the other player also has to wait for his opponent to make his decision.
Also, if a computer goes into "dormant" state, there is always the possibility that the program decides that the connection is lost...

An update, Bill and I started a new game using 2.7.1 and all went well and I as the Allies was able to claim the Baltics with the Russians with no problem.
So to confirm that those 2 particular Netplay bugs are now fixed. Thanks Steve.
