Fresh from victory my opponent has tied our matches 1-1. For the tiebreaker match, we switch sides. I will play Axis and BPINisBACK will play as the Allies.

We are going to use Fall Weiss 9.1 (the most recent) which is included in the free DLC, which was balanced with the assistance of some very helpful feedback from other users.

I will also be switching up my AAR reporting style to keep things fresh.

If anyone has tried version 9.1 in the free DLC you are welcome to chime in with feedback as well especially as it relates to balancing. I receive feedback mostly by PM/email but it doesn't open up dialogue for discussion.

20th, January 1940

Allies High Command has nothign to declare.

We are setting up our maing lines of action for a very long war.

British and French are digged all along the French border with Belgium and Germany.

Russia is frozen as every winter.

Little raiding from German subs in Atlantic. Some diplomatic actions from Axis over some countries (Greece, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal...)

Italians seems to look develop a very strong air power. Expensive strategy! I wonder how they will pay the losses in those great units...

Just a classic start of game (more or less).

I will try to post a report in Summer, 1940.
