I participated in the Beta Test. You are all in for a treat, especially the Grognards out there who began their wargaming career pushing counters. I began wargaming in the early seventies with Panzer Blitz and Luftwaffe and this latest iteration of TOAW brings back the excitement of those days for me. A first day must buy for anyone who appreciates a good wargame!

James and I are playing Balkins 1913 ( TOAW3) and the scenario
is a strange one to me. Anyway, it's gotten so complicated that I'm needing
the tools that TOAW4 has that TOAW3 completely lacks, like the
Combat Planner and the Pending Battles dialog, and more. It really gave me
wargammers pain to have to play with TOAW3 now that I've gotten used to
TOAW4. I sent my moves to James in T4 format instead of T3 to encourage
him to upgrade. He said it speaks volumes that I couldn't stand using T3
anymore.
