Loading Turn/Replay directly into Save File

I started a PBEM some time ago and when I started it I would have to download the file from my email into the download folder, then copy it and paste it into the SAVE folder in the game. For some reason that changed after a bit (can't remember taking any actions) and all I had to do was download the turn/replay directly from my email to the SAVE folder in the game overwriting the old files (asked by the program if I wanted to do this).

I started experiencing some freezing up of my web browser and reading up on it I found that the likely reason was that I had fragments of previous versions of that browser remaining in the program so I uninstalled the browser entirely and then re-installed the latest version.
Now I once again have to go through the procedure of downloading into the Download Folder then copying and pasting into the game. It's a bit annoying and time consuming, especially if I forget to delete the old files in the Download Folder.

I'd much prefer to simply download from my email to the SAVE Folder in-game. How?

BTW: Windows 10 and Firefox 56

It's been a while since I used Firefox so I cannot give you instructions (I'm sure someone here can), but the big-picture answer is to go into the configuration of Firefox, find the settings for downloading files, and pick the option that best suits you. Many browsers (and other programs) have save file options along the lines of "always go to folder x" (like the downloads folder) versus "always ask where to go" and often "when asking where to go, always remember the last place the user saved to and make that the starting place".

Does that make sense?

Open Firefox, and find a "Tools" option on the tool bar.

Click on it to get a pull-down menu, then click on Options.

Click on "General" tab.

Find the "Downloads" section, where you have 2 options to manipulate the location of the saved filed.

You can specify whether Firefox should always use a specific download folder for saving downloads or prompt for each download and ask where to save it.

Spence, you can add the AE "SAVE" folder to the "Favorites" folder (which is normally being displayed on the top left of the Windows Explorer) by a simple drag&drop.

Then, when using the "Save to" prompt, you can quickly select the "SAVE" folder from the favorites, or any other destination folder you place in the "Favorites". Adds flexibility.
