In order to make it easier for the techies and forum members, please run DXDiag and always attach the dump. Run the Opart4 or Opart4 - Slow in admin mode and see if that done some good, too.

Seems it's related to the ASCII problem with certain foreign language characters... there's a similar post already in one thread.

is the link to the thread and how they also managed to sort it out and get it to work for them who were having issues with a different language install etc

If i setting the language (USA) (language) in the language setting would solve this problem?(My pc system is 64-bit Windows 7 Chinese language)

you have only to try, as you have nothing else to loose, it has worked for others to install and play

Hi zakblood when i set my system language (USA) (language) in the language setting this problem solved.But in my turn when i execute turns my Screen will covered with a huge black piece often, I can't see anything...the AI turn everything is OK.why?

no idea on that one, only time it blacks the screen in most game is if your playing a hot seat game and it's on after the other users turn etc, so the other player has the chance to sit down and play there turn without seeing the other players moves, but will pass it on to the developer who may be able to explain it beter

posted a note to the developer with a link so if he needs any more logs or question he knows where to look and find the posts, thanks for the report and sorry for your issues

a patch is in the works atm regarding some issues, which one may help with yours, sorry for the delay

Hi My system name is zhirong when i set my system language (USA) (language) in the language setting this problem solved.But in my turn when i execute turns my Screen will covered with a huge black piece often, I can't see anything...the AI turn everything is OK.why?(when i play Korsun Pocket) Thanks!

The black squares are probably the tooltips not working correctly, you can go into player options and set the tooltip delay to a large value for now. Please post your dxdiag and make sure your video drivers are all up to date.

I'll keep looking into the Chinese language issues.
