v1.10 Update Install Error

When running the StrategicCommand-UpdateComp-v1.10 I keep getting the following error:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\Strategic command WWII - War in in Europe\autorun.exe
A decompression error has occurred (#2026)
Unknown decompression error

Selecting 'Ignore' allows the install to finish. Everything appears OK except I no longer get the initial Matrix dialog with the options of playing the game, checking for updates, opening the manual, etc. The game just opens. Upon closing, the initial dialog also no longer appears. Not a big deal, but basically the install was not 100% and I occasionally want to select these initial options. Any fix or just wait for 1.11+?

BTW: love this latest incarnation of SC. Been playing since '03...

1, have you download to the desktop?

if yes the file can't uncompress from there, if you move it elsewhere it can but hasn't got the right permissions on the desktop but elsewhere it will work

2, of that above isn't the case,

have you checked your anti virus logs to see if this has interfered and or stopped the process from completing

3, did you run as, run as admin etc? from a admin level account
