Customizing TOE of Units

Greetings.

I wonder if there is any way to modify the table of elements (how many tanks, rifles, guns, etc - or which type even) are part of a unit.
By that, I mean to modify as part of an ongoing game, not via editor.

Example: The 1st Battallion has 100 Rifle Squads and 10 MG Squads and 10 Mortar Squads. I want to bring that to 100 / 20 / 20 for extra push. Can I do that in a game?

Now, I understand that kind of change would not happen in a single "battle" - but as there are scenarios covering many years, that can be a sensible thing to do!

Examples about updating equipment/TO&E can be found in the Korea scenario (Pershings replacing Shermans) and monster scenarios like D21 or FitE 2. It is possible, with the mentioned examples as well as with event editors; e.g. a unit is being withdraw and appears later on with refitted equipment.

No, only in the Editor.

Thanks for the reply - and indeed I was interesting in a custom way to change them (not possible), not a pre-scripted kind of situation (that is the same in War in the East).
I think it would be good to get a way to do that for the "long lasting" campaign. If someone has the equipment in stock, why not to give them more divisions (creating new ones out of the blue to be filled) or why not to allow them to beef up some existing divisions.
