Do games become more realistic by setting EFB on?
or is it just to give more choices to the player on changing history?
I'm used with WITP, on switching units with european theater there are fixed arrivals and withdrawals, I'm just interested into having historic games

From a west front perspective, the game is arguably more realistic without the East Front box. It's there to provide more choices for the player, but in theory the historic losses, production split and comings and goings of units is accounted for without it. The EF box adds additional luck into the game as you have combat going on in the East and every game is going to be a little different. With no EF box, the Soviets will always capture things on the historical schedule.

I think the game is more fun and you have more options with EF on.

thanks for explanation, so I'm going to play my next game in historic way without EFB but in the future I'll try EFB for sure
