Blue Arrows on the Map & Cancelling Attacks

Greetings,

I've had the problem of starting a new scenario, and when my turn came all my units had some blue arrow darting in a direction.
I've not found any way to remove them.

Also I've first issued an attack, then before it was computed I decided to call it off. There is no rapid way to cancel an attack - at first. I had to manually instruct each single unit to abort the attack. Then, despite that, one unit still proceeded into the attack nonetheless.

The blue arrow thing can be turned off by hitting the "/" key. The bug that causes them to appear when not asked for has been fixed in the public beta update that you can find here in the forum, in case you want to give it a try.

To easily cancel an attack, right-click one of the attacking units, and choose the "cancel all" option.

It was not offered as option. I'll try again nonetheless.

Thanks for the Blue Arrows issue - by the way - what these Blue Arrows are then?

IIRC they are Programmed Opponent (AI) routes - the AI objectives and routes of advanced scripted in by the scenario designer.

The reason they can be shown is that you can utilise the AI to help move your formations, issuing objectives to follow to formations - it is not overly difficult to use, but it is an advanced feature I'd suggest you ignore while you are learning the game.
