If possible, always attach the DxDiag dump as well as the Crash-log here in order to be able to look into it.

Your system specs look more than good; you got multiple CPUs; so make use of them. In the Opart4.ini, check if you got multicpu=Y. I also suspect that some faster machines, or perhaps overclocked memory, can cause graphics glitches because of hyper threading. Check if you can disable it when running just TOAW 4; there should be an option in the NVidia panel to do just that.

Yes, multi-core CPU and sometimes(a guess, but I worked for a memory company)hyper-threading and overclocking.

Well I changed it to "Y" from s "N" and it seems to have cleared up some graphics glitches, so thank you very much. Later I will see if it fixed the confused ocean colors!
Well Darn, after about an hour of messing around (with the editor)some of the glitches came back (to a lesser degree maybe)
Glad my 'suspicions' about it were correct. Well, it did, after all, pay out that I worked in TechSup for Kingston Technology

I take it you mean the triangles? Dump your Guadalcanal .SCE again if you please? I am a landlubber and not a known 'fan' of naval stuff... but wanna see if the deep/shallow water thingies work now, eh?
