As an ex 8th Force airman - a furball - is unexpected air to air combat w/ multiple fights across all altitudes - may the best pilots win [:D]

Thanks Foggy, as an avid cat fan, I thought it meant something else.
Klink - FUBAR = F00ked Up Beyond All Recognition. That's what I've been told, I was never in the service [;)]

You still can join the MD National Air Guard though
Oh, and I was right (naturally!?) as well.
FUBAR is a military acronym for "{f*cked/fouled} up beyond {all/any} {recognition/
repair/reason}".

No - I'm way too old now now - could command the whole air base - but you do need officers[8|]

Yeah, I didn't mean to imply you were wrong, I was pointing out what I heard was different [:)]
And Md. National Guard will not have me, as I have an 'uneven temperament' [;)]

So you could be FUBARed if you get caught in a furball!

That's not a bad thing - being trained to load and launch as many A-10's as possible - we were going to get get 3 SS-20's as soon as the war would start. We (US troops) tried to help them as much as possible.
