The Matrix/Slitherine helpdesk folks asked me to post this issue here so that the game developer would see it.

Background: Purchased download version of TLD during current sale. Latest version, so far as I can tell. The reason I got it was to play remotely with a friend in a different city. (I am waiting for him to check to see if he has the same issue and will update with his reply later.)

Issue: Game loads and plays fine, but whenever I hit the Multiplayer button, the program crashes.
I am running the game on an Asus laptop, Windows 10 operating system.

so playing normally the game works fine?

only it crashes the moment you press the Multiplayer button, correct?

odd and a new one on me, but the developer may have seen it, did they also ask for a report etc for spec sheet and error logs?

welcome to the forum btw, and you may not be able to post this with being a new member either, just asking if they asked for it etc,...

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

have you enabled this in windows 10 and disabled the game mode?






some games need it, others don't, depends on age tbh

That fixed the issue! Also, I noticed that there is a 55014b update. I did not know about that one. Thanks!
