Allied Pbem

I've been away for a few days and just got 2.30 and have had a chance to receive a few turns back. So far I like all the new features with 2.30 except....
So what's the deal with the new filenames? Seems to me the Allied Pbem'er with multiple games will have to prune his save directory regularly. Not a show stopper but surely a pain in the a**
Much like the now gone issue with having to exit and restart the game between pbem games, this new feature needs to go away. Don't make things more complicated for the old and simple minded among us
