Movement animation

Trying my first scenario and I am very impressed with many aspects of this game.

Just one thing I can't seem to get right : the movement animations.

I find the default animations to be too fast when I am trying to watch the AI moves. And when I adjust the animation movement timer in the advanced options to slow things down I get moving unit trails which don't look right and reduces immersion. I have tried a number of settings on 0-100 scale but nothing gets it just right.

Can anybody please advise the settings they use in the advanced options to slow down the movement without getting movement trails ?

Thx

There is the option NoDelay, so set it on Y. You also can hold the shift-key during the AI movement and/or caps-lock; that should do the trick.

I set the movement and combat animation at 50 and use cap-locks when I move so there's no delay in my unit's movement. Caps lock off during the AI portion of the turn slows them down so I can see what they are doing. I've not tried NoDelay as Oberst Klink mentions, but I don't need to since using the described method solves the problem.
