Arty/air question

does not using my air or arty in my turn give any benefits to me during my opponents turn?

say for example, I burn through all the attacks I want to do with my ground units in my turn. Say I still have arty and air that could be assigned. Should I just go ahead and use them for bombard attacks or will not using them help me in my defense in the next turn. Supply not being a factor....I know using arty and air uses supply..but if thats not a factor...should I burn through all my air and arty in my turn.

thanks in advance!

There is also the lowering of readiness from attacking. There doesn't seem to be any opposing turn functions of remaining movement points for air and artillery units though.

Air units with air superiority and interdiction orders are gonna be active in the enemy's turn. If you don't want that you should set them to "rest"
Artillery, in tactical reserve of defending/entrenched/fortified status will support your units that are attacked, if in range.
