Carrier Surprise v1.1

Due to incompetent bureaucrats inside CINCPAC Fleet Headquarters ignoring repeated warnings that the Japanese were preparing to attack, all three of America's precious Pacific Fleet aircraft carriers and their escorts are moored inside Pearl Harbor for routine maintenance during the Japanese surpise attack on the fateful morning of December 7th, 1941.

The tables have been turned and the odds are now heavily in favor of the Imperial Japanese Navy. With all three US carriers either sunk or heavily damaged, the IJN can now roam the Pacific at will. Can America and her allies survive this devastating blow?

Mod covers both the Grand Campaign and Grand Campaign Quiet China version. Requires latest game patch version 1126a.

Admittedly an Allied Fanboy I wouldn't even consider it unless "Reliable USN torpedoes" was turned on. I suppose if the IJ had everything going for it (other than the world involved in a war on the other side of the planet) the IJ could win so long as the Western Allies had the same sort of decadent determination as the IJ propaganda claimed.

Racism was alive and well in 1945...we'll never know but it is almost likely that the Japanese population at large could have been exterminated had the war gone on after 1945.
