It seems according to the google front page, it's Marlene Dietrich's 116th birthday today.

For me, her song "Lili Marleen" is the most famous song of WW2.

I instantly recognized Marlene Dietrich on Google but unfortunately everybody else I know were clueless. Got to buy me a better class of friends. My favorite memory was her performance in "Witness for the Prosecution". Once I was able to get my wife to look past the black and white and focus on the story she loved it. Glad she has made an appearance in the 21st century.[8D]
