In the Bay of Biscay the CW moves two CA's down from the 4-box to the 1-box. They then undo that naval move. The axis are given the opportunity to init in the Bay of Biscay even though the CW undo their naval move there and no additional CW air or naval units were moved there.

Undo's have many quirks. Not everything gets undone and a moved status is all that is required to trigger a search.

What you should try is to use the "Undo All". That should set you at the beginning of phase.

Not true. It simply does repeated Undo's for every unit that moved.

Well, it has been my experience that some things do not Undo properly. I have found that it is possible when a glitch occurs for the Undo All to allow things to get back to the start of the phase for those activities. Maybe for some other reasons that seems to work. I know that does not occur all the time due to the complexity of some moves.

I have reported a few bugs for the same.

In every game I play, I rely pretty heavily on the autosaves and make sure that there are no issues that resulted from Undo's.

I believe that having the Undos and Undo All does help to avoid needing to do more frequent restores, but there are still problems.

Since I can work around it, I don't gripe about it much, but there are unresolved problems related this type of situation, "ghost" units that were debarked that are no longer debarked and instead are not really on the transports either. There are units that simply just disappear.

A minor change to the code wherein the ghost units are the ones that disappear, would be really great.

About the Debark issue,

If you have a saved game with instructions, that would enable me to investigate (and hopefully fix) this.

It is near the top of the list of Netplay issues:

Here is the link to the thread. There are save files for both sides and instructions:
