If germany has lithuania but the USSR has not went to the baltic state its baltic unit are supposed to show up in Ostrov right? But I've run a test in hotseat but they won't deploy. A single light tank appear in Ostrov but nothing else.

I assume this is for our game. Not invading the Balkans is now my standard procedure and I have always gotten the units around Ostrov. IF you don't get them than that is a big bug. But I think all we can do is play it out to see.

When I ran my hotseat test it was early though, it was prior to june 1940 so there might be a condition in there that requires the baltic state decision to have happened for the units to appear anywhere at all.

I guess we'll find out soon enough if they show up or not in our current game. [:)]

This is the relevant script, and so the units will only deploy at Ostrov if the USSR doesn't annex the Baltic States (I've emboldened the relevant parts).

If Germany declares war before June 1940 when DE 414 is due to fire then the USSR wouldn't get any units, but otherwise I cannot see why in the right conditions, these units shouldn't deploy there.

If the USSR does annex the Baltic States then these units will deploy at Jelgava when the USSR joins the Allies.

So re-reading the above, as it was prior to June 1940 then their non-appearance at Ostrov is as we would expect.
