Unable to find UV Data

Hello,
wanted to play UV again after a decade:-) I downloaded all the files necessary to run it in win 8.1. After installing the game and the latest patch I get the "Unable to find UV Data" error messaage when laumching the game. I can recall having this problem in the past but can not rememeber the solution. Any one here who can help?
