Can any one tell me what "PC 100" etc means in the scenario Bitter Victory Sicily 1943 PO?

I asked this same question in the Mods forums back on 12/1/2017 and never got an answer. I'm guessing that those numbers mean Port Capacity, but that's only a guess. They have no impact on the scenario that I could see. Good luck![;)]

I think it means Political Center but I really don't remember exactly.
Steve Sill is the guy to ask I think.

A quick G00gle search and a look at the documentation will clarify in seconds:

3. House rules - Naval
Note that there are few ports symbols on the Sicilian coast, only ports with naval facilities are marked so. All coastal locations may used for debarking Allied seaborne units, this of course means that all seatransports must spend 1 turn next to the location they are embarking unto. This is to allow for intervening naval and coastal artillery attacks.

I read that in the scenario description and I assumed it meant the blue anchors ast the port symbols. Does not explain the PC 600 , etc.

Those ports do allow ships to anchor, as per house rule, up to the capacity. E.g. each ship or the ship TF has a certain 'weight' value; so basically the HR allow you to 'park' up to a certain amount of ships within the ports/harbours, not all the Allied ships in one port/harbour. Alas, one can email Mark to get it 100% clarified.

Yep, that is it. Port Capacity. There was a time we thought they would create different size ports. Similar to what they did with the supply where it would have a percentage. But alas, it didn't happen. So it has no real effect on the game. It was more of an honor system with PbeM.

See... for some reason I knew you'd pop-up, old warhorse. Funny though, Michigan and Custer7 as in 7th US Cav? ;) 'sup in the Mid-West, still friggin' cold as heck, eh?

Thanks for the help and response to my inquiry.

No matter what I try I am unable to disembark the units unless they land on a port. I am moving them with one of the Beach Group units, putting them all together next to the hex I want to disembark, and then waiting one turn (from the pm to the am). Then what?

Any help appreciated!

You say you're waiting one turn to disembark your units over the water and walk ashore, so I have no idea why that doesn't work. It works for me. Maybe you're trying to disembark and walk ashore into bad terrain, terrain that unit can't enter or something.

Thanks Larry, I figured it out. I was doing two things wrong - first I wasn't unloading the units and trying to "land" them whilst still loaded. And second, I was trying to place the engineer boat next to the shore and disembark the units "through" it.
I think it's a cool mechanic once you understand how it works, which is to put the units you want to unload directly next to the shore hex and then place the engineer vessel with or next to the stack you want to land and then they will be able to do it.

I'm glad you worked it out. Great. Good hunting.
