Hey everyone, first post and all that.
I've just completed my first game of WITE!
The kindly Mrs Fritz got me the game for Christmas as I'd been reading AARs here and watching some youtube vids of the game.
I played Bitter End vs the AI, with non-random weather, normal difficulty, Sov+1 and nasty blizzard.
Took Leningrad & Moscow September '41, Stalingrad in July '42, Kubyshev Sept '42.
I got to October '42.
Sovs were down to 2.9million men, about 1k AFVs, with a chunk of that pocketed. I had 4.2 million & 6k AFVs.
I was floundering in a sea of mud Oct '42 a few hexes from Baku, Astrakhan & Gorky, with front line on Ural river in south, east of Cherepovets in North.
Pesky partizans were disrupting my rails like crazy and most of my army was glowing yellow or red from lack of supplies.
I go to start my turn and get a crappy animation and it says I've won - game over.
Is that it?
I was expecting more. Not least cos I thought the game would go on until 1945.
Fun though. What should I do next? [&:]
