WW1 , they held overwhelming forces .
They died in their hundreds daily .
They hoped for the politicians in far off lands to support them.
But still they would lay their lives down for their duty ,
If there is a nation that held up the german advance it is the French

The truth is that they are used to eating snails... and frog's legs, while drinking Chablis or Roussette du Bugey (two kinds of white wine)!
