Excuse me, but this may sound like a noob question, but how do you save/create/post screen shots of your game progress. I have an interested player who may purchase and game with TOAW, I would like to send him some screen shot of my current game Bulge 44. Let me know, thanks.

If you hit the printscreen key and then open the Paint and paste that would create a screenshot of the whole screen.
Alternatively you could use the windows "snipping tool" program to cut some part of the screen.

I personally can recommend PhotoScape, that's the program I use e.g. for my tutorial slides, too.

In Windows 10 can use the built-in hotkeys to send a portion of the screen to the clipboard, then paste it to any image editor, such as irfanview.

shift - windows button - s

that causes the whole screen to look rather foggy but translucent, at which point you use the mouse to left-click and drag a rectangle around that portion of the screen you want a screenshot of. Releasing the left mouse button places that rectangle into the clipboard. The whole screen then returns to normal, and you can paste the contents of the clipboard to an image editor.

I'm using Windows 10 and the "sniping tool" to take cuts of the portions of the screen that I want to show. I then paste them into either Powerpoint or the LibreOffice presentations. Once I am finished setting up the slide, I can save it as a jpg and post it to this site.

I started using MSPaint way back when it first came out and I've been
using it since. It's not fancy but it does what I need it to do
most of the time. It won't handle PNG files very well though.
