Treaty conditions and death of Karl XII

Example from my own game, I have taken Copenhagen but I must be lacking the required 100 line elements so Peace of Travendal is forever missed if England decides joining the war soon.
I think the 100 line elements rules or having certain leaders present is very artificial, just name the locations you have to hold to get the treaties or events to fire.
Keep it simple.
It is also little absurd that Denmark can by these rules remain a belligerent even after being completely invaded and Saxony-Poland is pushed out with the Treaty of Altranstädt.
Also the death of Karl XII is a little far fetched script if the war is going evenly but morale is slightly down at some point.
Make it possible to fire if the number of regions Sweden holds drops to a certain level or specific locations are lost.
Or set a date like 1710>>
This will keep Karl XII fighting to the bitter end for his empire in the front lines, not hiding in Stockholm waiting for the morale to get back up.
