Is there any reason to Limit or Minimize Losses when Bombarding? Can't find answer in manual.

I have always maxed artillery. They use supply quicker though....GP

They also use more rounds in combat. Min. Losses=1 round of combat. Limited Losses=2 rounds of combat. Ignore Losses=3 rounds of combat. I keep my arty. and Naval units on 1 dot usually to conserve supply and readiness. I will make 2 and 3 dots attacks, but that's when I'm prepping and area for an attack.

I normally use limited losses or two rounds of bombardments. When I get to 7 round with no opportunity to exploit or encircle. I pepper the front with ignore losses, and inflict pretty good losses on my opponent.

One round of Bombardment will sometimes eliminate an enemy's Entrenchment. Therefore, often before attacking I will spend one round bombarding [:)]

Wow! Never seen that, is that at 100% entrenched? What did you shoot or drop, a nuke?

Any percentage, LARGE caliber artillery could do it [150mm or larger].
