Hi Everyone,

We have been making good progress with Armored Brigade, and we thought it would be great to get some feedback on how the game looks and plays. Therefore, we would like to invite you to apply for a place in the Alpha Tester Team!

First impressions, opinions on how the game plays, and the game data, would all be welcome, not to mention bug reports!

A bonus point to mention is being active players in the past, particularly if you had contributed with feedback or suggestions on old forum or elsewhere. Another thing we might appreciate is former military background or being knowledgeable on Cold War warfare. Being an alpha test, the number of testers will be limited, so every detail might matter.

I already applied. But yes I have played The Third World War series by GDW, plus others. I also play the older version of this game. In fact it is currently installed on my computer. And I fire it up a few times a week....GP

I already applied as well. I have a military background and have played many cold war board games from 2nd Fleet to Next War:Poland. I have also spend plenty of time with Steel Panthers II.

Applied also. Regrettably no experience with your former titles, but retired Army and played years of military tactical and strategic games, including Steel Panthers II and WINSPMBT. Beta tester and other games listed in my application.

I applied as well. I've been beta testing for a very long time and have been chronicling my tests for the past 2 years on Reddit. Can't post the link but reddit / r / GetInEarly has it. I'd be happy to answer any questions! If the admins want me to remove that link on reddit as well I certainly can, I just like to post my experiences (or at least applications)

Applied. Ex member of the army, and served on occasions in Germany training with the BAOR on large exercise etc from 79 to the 90's. Played many a cold war simulation, but till now only TACOPS and Point of Contact has been worthwhile playing until I very recently discovered Armoured Brigade and it surpasses both those two simulations.

Member of the German Armed Forces and I played a lot of different tactic games:

Sudden Strike, Wargame (EE, AB, RD), Blitzkrieg, Armored Brigade (from 2008 [8D]), Steel Division, Graviteam Tactics, Flashpoint Campaigns, Arma, Hearts of Iron, Cold Waters, ...

But I have not found the perfect game yet. I want to play the classic cold war tactic (german) for example: "hammer and anvil/Hammer und Amboss", with a tank reserve in the flank, to fight with/around mines, to delay, to (counter-)attack, in a fluent gameplay, ...

I know this is the opposite from "casual", but this is my dream from Real Tactic Gaming [8|]

Sound interesting to see clash between soviet tank and Mech. infantry brigade with armored cavalry regiment of US and modern panzer divisions.

Earlier this week we selected a small first echelon of Alpha testers from those who had applied at that point. Later we may add more testers to the Alpha, and especially for the Beta when the time is right.

I applied for the beta but forgot to list other areas of knowledge. I designed several maps for the ASL game system back in the day, extensive military history knowledge weapon systems 1900's on, gaming includes SL, ASL, panzer blitz/panzer leader, fulda gap, IL2 series, steel division, scourge of war, and world of warships. Familiar with TO+E charts/OOB/RTS versus turn based gaming. Hope to be included......
