In this game, do the players get to control bombers on missions, or is it purely air to air combat for the player?

There are several missions with bombers on one side. Usually these bombers need to be safely navigated off the map to safety, but in some cases the mission is about an actual bombing run that needs to be performed.

I think, if land was better painted, so it would be much more realistic!

that's something easy to add it enough wanted it, but as most from a given height it's just a blur or not high detail anyway, it's a point, but not sure some will or would ask for the same, i'd say maybe given the choice, if it can be done easily with little in the way of performance loss, eye candy is always welcome, but it wouldn't add that much to me but suggestion are always welcome, as others may agree also so why not post it in the forum as a suggestion anyway

You are absolutely right, and I agree with this. But still it's game, and it should be beautiful!

I've more of an appointment issue with animation and really this day and age no need for non transparent windows!

Animations currently break all immersion for me sadly

Also been nice if all p!SNES had a pilot name.

Very strange name for such kind of game but I've just checked the gameplay itself and it looks not bad at least : )

Your intuitions are correct; the phrase 'watch your six' does indeed mean 'watch your back'. It refers to the 6 position on the face of a clock. If you were standing in the center of a clock face, facing the 12 position, the 6 position would be immediately behind you.
