Joystick support

Not to cause confusion, but I have found two Matrix games that have map issues when a joystick is connected to a PC. In such cases the map will auto-scroll to the top of the screen on it´s own. It will do that as long as you have a joystick connected and/or any z-axis input.
Just wondering if this would happen with Desert War 1940-1942 before I buy?
Not that I want to control the game via any gamepad and or joystick. I just don´t want to have to unplug any outboard controlers to play this game.
Thank you.

for a very good and informed guess no, as it's a different engine from the others mentioned, where as Unity does have or can have an issue with USB joysticks and joypad, this game to my knowledge doesn't as it doesn't not only use that engine, but the engine is so completely different that i can't see it having the controller problem either
no issues on my USB ones
i only use a Xbox one controller
a logitech dual action joypad
and a Thrustmaster joystick 3 buttons and a trigger
all USB and windows 10 compatible but only have one plugged in at any time
mouse is a standard microsoft laser mouse, low end and low DPI
have tried a mid range mid DPI gigabyte laser mouse and a high end gaming high DPI laser mouse
mouse range in DPI is standard to high end, which mine runs at 12000 DPI the Corsair M65 PRO RGB version

As zakblood said.
And all I can say is that I have an XBox-360 controller connected to my computer and never had any problems. [;)]

i've been given this some thought and my idea and advice on the subject for you and tbh anyone is get a USB power hub
mine cost £5 and comes with 4 ports and is switched, so if i want it on, i turn on the switch, as it's either powered by mains, or powered by USB, but the switch also has a dead switch to turn off, helps me when unplugging removable drives and also in your case would stop any issues with connected devices etc and as it's on the desktop, lengthens the cables and also you don't have to unplug and plug back in
Cerulian 4 Port USB 2.0 Foldable Hub is only £6 for a mini eg small one
but there's plenty out there so just shop around, depends if you want 2.0 or 3.0, which will cost you more, same as if you wish for it to be switched and or mains powered as well, i got mine in the black friday sales, as normal price is around £21 that i can just find it at the lowest atm.
hope it helps, mines a none branded one either, and works a treat

Oh yeah I have a USB hub too Zak. No switch on mine but I just unplug if needed. It works good because when I want to clean my PC case (inside), I just have to remember which USB the hub it was in. I also bought some color coded velcro straps that I strap around to the rest of the cables that go to USB ports. Its easier to plug them back where they were this way.
Thanks Zak!
