Weird Save File Issue

Some of my other programs, not named 'Tigers on the Hunt' give this name "Tigers on the Hunt Document (.sav)"
for type of file when I save or auto save. Very...strange. I even uninstalled/deleted from registry TotH & still get this annoying thing. The files appear to work as they are supposed to, but what the hell is going on.
