Default settings.
This is my first go at a medium sized scenario, have played the tutorial and the short one but still very much learning the game.

T1
Send one division on the flank march, otherwise just move into contact.

T2
Not much combat, a second division follows on the right flank.

T5
Bring up more units to assault Sidi Barrani.
There are a load of brits backed up against the escarpment, two divisions move in to assault.
Cirene heads for Mersa Matruh.
1st and 2nd Libyan continue the assault without much success.

T6
Continue the attacks near the frontier - hadn't realised at this point that night attacks are not so good.

T7.
Begin the assault on the Brit HQ at Sidi B. Otherwise just continue attackling, the units around Sofafi are too strong but try and pick off a few on the edges.
Troops begin to arrive near Mersa.
Those 3 recon units are a pain, should have got rid of them earlier.

T10.
1st and 2nd Libyan making a little headway.
Keep grinding away at the Brits pinned on the escarpment.
There are still three of those recon units from the start of the game that I have not got rid of. Am trying bombing them...
Haven't got my supply ranges worked out at all, am moving my army HQ around to try and get supply to the advanced corps but not sure where it should be.
Still some way from being able to attack Mersa M, most of 2 divisions up.
More reinforcements coming up.

T12.
At this stage I had a look at the Allied OOB and they have no reinforcements. It was clear that the game was won though it would take some time to wipe the rest of them out so I decided to end here.

Looks like a lot of effort on your part. Did you get any enjoyment out of it? Did the AI do anything? This is why the editor is so important. Some of these historical scenarios seem quite boring. Against another player, it may be quite different.

I don't think I would have enjoyed playing this scenario myself. However, I hopefully will be proved wrong watching AI vs AI play, or especially having the AI on the attack. I wonder if the AI would have done a flanking maneuver or what.

Thanks for the AAR though!

Same Here looks good, but I would wait for a player vs player match, but if u enjoyed that's all that matters.

Found it interesting enough to play and a good way to learn the game, is an interesting exercise in keeping the army structure intact and maintaining attacks. Once it got boring I quit. Does raise some questions about the AI defensive strategy...

I am halfway through it and the AI parried my plunge from the south into Sidi Barrani... or at least it just happened to be travelling by chance into the flank of my spearheads.

For whatever the reason, I also got to see a substantial part of the Escarpment Force lingering for too long southwest of Sofafi... with similar results. That looked to me odd, and seeing it happened to you as well, it may be that there is a glitch in the AI plan.

I think this scenario is quite interesting, it doesn't hobble the Italian Army out of the box... allows ample opportunity for their armchair commanders' lack of imagination and daring to simulate historical outcomes [:)] I see that your Italians moved very swiftly, in my game they haven't and my orders are usually delayed in most inconvenient moments.

Good to see your habitual aggressive style playing WITE translates very well to this game too [:)]

Had two divisions on road movement from T1, and made sure they stayed South of the escarpment so the allied recon wouldn't slow them up.

I also have had trouble with my southern right hook. It's turn 15 and I'm yet to get across the escarpment!
I wasn't nearly aggressive enough and didn't have my units in road movement mode.
