Silly of me but apparently I cannot find the email confirming my purchase.
Should I just contact Matrix Customer Support and will the PayPal order confirmation should be enough as a proof of purchase?

yes, as no one else will know, if registered, it should be in your support account, so if you buy when your logged in, it will or should record it for you, but if you wasn't then it may not have been registered so then support is your only option

How long ago did you purchase?

I got it on the launch.
