IL-2 rule

As sovjet in April 42 I have some IL-2 units. Curiously if I made air ground attacks I never saw IL-2 planes. After checking the IL-2 units I saw that the IL-2 marked as "EW" -electronic warfare-. Is this the reason they dont attack? How can the rule change if possible?

A little early for electronic warfare. That didn't come along until the 1960s.
Maybe you have them set on night missions? Or is the unit itself an NBAP (night bomber squadron).

Someone's playing on old patch with game started under newer patch.

Realy? At this circumstance all sovjet IL-2 planes are worthless I guess. This is a great disadvantage for a multiplayer game I just playin...

Patch your game up to the 1.11.0 or 1.11.01. 01 is better balanced IMHO
