Where did you see reference to Hunchbacks?

The note that struck me was "Chemical weapons have been stored on Johnston Island since 1971."

In fact its credited with the 'longest bombing raid' of the war. Although I'm not so sure. Here's why...

B-24's took off from Pearl. Landed at Baker, and bombed up. Hit Nauru and returned.

I thought the "long strike on Balikpapan" was the longest one. They left from Darwin.

That and the 'broken' flight to Nauru are why I said I was not sure. Just what the article I was reading had said.
