CE status

I have noticed over many games CE status is a death sentence. I would like to know how shots are calculated because it seems like stunned status is almost automatic. I have seen some unbelievable events when CE. Is there a way to show random numbers generated for results? I am basing my expectations of results as a long time ASL player.

Rico, thanks for the test.
In my opinion, something is wrong with the processing of fire vs. CE AFVs.
The % do not appear to be right. A 1st line German squad at 4 hex range should fire with 4 FPs should require a DR of 7 or less (58.3% chance) to obtain a possibly effective result with DRM = 0 (vs. the Infantry squads). The subsequent TC/MC roll should approximately halve the chance of an effective result (in fact, approx. 30% of the infantry squads suffered adverse results). Against the CE M10s, the minimum DR required to achieve a possibly effective result drops to 5 or less (27.7%) because of the +2 DRM for a CE AFV. I understand that 10 fires might not be enough for an accurate analysis, 8 effective hits out of 10 (we can't know if the fire on the 2 unaffected M10's obtained a "no effect" result or if the AFVs passed their MC/TC).
In "Sowchos 79" I only used the German halftracks to chase broken Russian units, since any attempt to use them to provide supporting fire for infantry (a task they were designed for) invariably ended with a "STUNNED" result (and, often, a blocked road preventing other German AFV from moving through that road [:(])
