Good day all,

I would like to do a Market Garden scenario and there are two options that come with the game. Has anyone played one of the following scenarios?

1. Market Garden 44 - this one is in the WWII - Western Front folder.

2. Holland - A bridge too Far 1944 - Custom Graphics folder

The maps and details are very different. So, I'm looking for some advice as to the best one to play...

I've played them all. The most historical OOB is Holland - A Bridge too Far 1944 -. It is 6hr turns, the other half day. So 40 turns vs 20 turns. I playtested it years ago for Erik. Trey's West Wall takes in a larger scope than the other two. It covers a longer period and the campaign in Holland, where Market Garden was just one episode. With Elmer the PO now a formidable foe, it would be interesting to see how any of them play out. I played them back in the early day, before III even. I think you would enjoy all of them.

If you wanted an opponent, I'd be interested. It has been a while since I did PbeM. Either one is good.

West Wall Holland is a solid scenario

Thanks for the input. While at work today, I had decided that the bridge too far scenario was not really what I was looking for. However, having looked at the larger scenario - West Wall Holland - I think that it will be a challenge. It will be the longest scenario that I have tried and it looks like I have a variety of options. I'm going to give it a try, this should be fun.

Custer 7, thanks for the offer. However, I'm not ready yet to try a real opponent. I worry that I do not have enough time to make it fair for the other player. My gaming time gets reduced during the summer months...
