A nice touch of chrome

I just discovered that Hetzers (JPz 38) can fire their AAMG even when they are BU (as they should, since the AAMG could be remotely fired).

Another similar feature is the StuG AAMG, which can only fire in the VCA.

Thanks for these fine details, Peter!

Thanks, I tried to put in as much detail as I could within reason :)

Hi, Peter.

Just two questions about what is possible to do, and what isn't.
None is a request, nor an urgent one!

- Weapons (1). Albeit rather seldom with only its 140 units produced for 1944 against +3500 for the "Multiple Gun Motor Carriage" (US M16 quad .50 Half-track), could -in a distant future- the Flakpanzer "Wirbelwind" (20mm Flakvierling) be introduced into the German TO&E? Not as an anti-aircraft weapon but as an efficient antipersonel weapon, as it was proved during the Normandy & the Bulge campaigns. Are TotH's ordnance's and weapons' data & graphic files or sheets restricted to a limited number?

- Weapons (2). Are Minefields (AP, AT, Mixed) conceivable, though I tried to simulate an AP one thanks to a "Scenario Special Rule" in my recent "KGP1 - Shadows of Death.scn"?

- Maps. Are overlays for Wrecks/Flames/(Smoke) also conceivable in the future, like Debris, Orchard, Trench are for those who like creating or editing "accurate" maps?

Thank You, Peter!
Friendly Greetings from France. [:)]

I don't ask for so much, Rico! [;)]

There are good air combat simulators for that kind of thrill, even taking into account the ground attacks and AA Artillery ...
The series "Ilyushin IL-2 Sturmovik" for example.
I just thought that the Wirbelwind would play the same role as the US M16 which is not actually present in TotH but could be too, with much more good historical reasons ...
Of course, it isn't a question of declining all variants of Flakpanzer!

As for Close Air Support, Peter certainly would allow me to mention an older suggestion I have made to him by e-mail a month ago.

2018, April 14th; to Peter FISLA:
"- The C.A.S. isn't a particularly urgent expectation for me. I just wanted to suggest that maybe, You could add it (obviously in a very distant future) as a simple type of OBA; i.e. rarer, more random and dangerous in its [nature and] effects (friendly fire) than others.
A form of abstraction without necessarily taking into account the 3D, the reaction of the Flak, the strafing and/or the use of bombs or rockets and [all] other hyper detailed features not really necessary in ToTH ..."

Bien amicalement,
L.
