3D Terrain View Glitch

Here is an interesting 3D Terrain View Glitch.

This is from a map in a random scenario. The map in the first view below is flipped. Look at hexes (35,25); (35,23) and (35,22).
They appear clear but highlighted hex (35,25) indicated in unit viewer says forest!?

Now look at the Map unflipped. The forest hexes are indicated for (35.25); (35,23) and (35,22).

Thanks for the report, Big Ivan. Indeed, getting every little thing right in flipped map view is quite tricky. I am not surprised when we discover still more bugs.

In this case, it seems to have something to do with the interaction between road and forest, and how that manifests in various contexts.

Would you perhaps be able to post the random map in question?

Hi berto,

Random Scenario attached.

On the bright side you gents fixed the legacy bug with the hex coordinates displaying properly when map was flipped.

I think I had an e-mail out about that a year or so ago, Good Job!!

It doesn't help you much, now. But it seems that this bug has already been fixed in recent CSME EXEs built in the past two or three months. We continue to refine the graphics engine for CSVN, and by implication also for CSME. Along the way, we somehow manage to fix more than we break. [:D]

Thanks berto for looking into this issue. Its good that its fixed for upcoming releases and updates. I'll just keep
plugging away at CSME until the next update. Looking forward for CS'Nam too![:)]
