Combined attack and shock

as I read in the tutorial pdf
"units which do not possess offensive shock value will reduce the shock value of other units in the same attack"
So I assume that we can't have combined attack in the same hex.
How can it possible to have combined attack with infantry and armored units ?

is the shock reduced if an infantry unit attack from an adiacent hex ?

As a general tactical rule infantry and tanks are more lethal (shocking) when used together.

Mobile infantry have Shock of 0 so they do not reduce the shock of armour units in the same attack.

Shock is only reduced if leg infantry attack with the armour (being adjacent or in the same hex is irrelevant).
I.e. having your tanks advance at walking pace will lose Shock. Having motorized infantry advancing with armour will not reduce the shock (but will increase the Attack Factor by adding their attack factors to the armour attack factor).

thanks, I wasn't aware of the 0 shock value.
