I downloaded the game and the update, but not the beta, and i started the game up, and went in and changed my screen to full screen, I then got out of the game, and went to go back in but when i click on play gary grigsby's war in the west, it never starts the game HELP??

sorry about that, lets take a look and see what maybe the issue or problem,

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

is that correct? as the M/B says different, as once you install the drivers and updates for Nvidia, it over rights, but the main drivers still need to be installed, as it's that which most games will look for and work with

best place to look is here,

and download which ever version is the latest




download the auto install, as that will check and make sure you have the correct one for the sound chip on the main board, and hopefully next time the Nivida drivers updates, it doesn't removed or replace the default.

hopefully that will solve the problem, if not try to rename the video and or sound folder as per guide and see if its helps
