Hi guys,

started a Pbem++ game. Is there a sal-file at the end? I'd need it for an AAR...

If you use 'save' instead of 'close and save' you get a sal file.

But you have to use 'close and save' if you don't want to lose all the moves you've made that turn. So if you want a sal file, I suppose you have to

1) do a 'close and save' before ending the turn;
2) do 'play online' again, to reopen the turn, then do a 'save'
3) do 'play online' again, to reopen the turn, and continue playing till 'end turn'

Maybe someone else will offer a better way.

Hi!

Thanks, yes, I remember you wrote this to me already. But I forgot to do that - and didn't want to try out after moving units for more then an hour [;)] Strange thing is, a pbl file is save on my hard disc, but no sal.

So I guess the turns played until now are lost. Well, such things happen.

Thanks anyway! [:)]

What I do to get a SAL file when I'm using PBEM++ is chose 'close' from the menu then chose 'Save & close' and it will save a SAL
file to your hard disk and then slose. Then open your TOAW and go online again, load your turn from "waiting turns" and continue
your game from where you left off. I just used it an hour ago and it worked again.
