In regards to the issue highlighted here, there is a hotfix now available that will resolve the issue. It is also backwards compatible with v1.13 and current saved games, as well as PBEM++ games in progress, will not be affected:

To use this hotfix, please download from the link above, de-compress the file, and place it into your SC3 installation folder pasting over the existing EXE. Typically this folder can be found here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\Strategic Command WWII - War in Europe

When you then launch the game it should show as v1.13.01 in the bottom right hand corner of the MAIN MENU screen.

Note, this hotfix should work fine for the Matrix installation, Steam users may find that Steam will complain and try and overwrite this file with the Steam version of the EXE which is currently at v1.13.

Can't start the game with the file, computer can't access it. Can you make it an official update ASAP?

Can you provide more details? Was this an AI game, a PBEM++ game, did both you and your opponent run with v1.13.01 etc.?

Given that the hotfix worked in a test game I ran against the AI, I am convinced that my PBEM opponent not applying the hotfix, when I assumed he would, was the cause.

Can you please put this on Steam so my friend can download it. I think this may be causing the failure of our PBEM game to advance to the next turn.

Any ETA on when the fix will automatically occur on Steam version? It's not a big deal but would rather not start PBEM until then. You can apply hotfix but it adds a coordination issue if one or the other player doesn't apply it correctly or it later gets overridden by Steam.

I'll be submitting a final patch for the Matrix Production team tonight and hopefully not too much longer after that.
