In the scenarios featuring market garden in TOAOW 4 I can only get 3/4 of the airborne units to deploy, and I have to deploy them one unit at a time. I'm sure I'm missing something. Any suggestions?

One at a time is the only way to airdrop paratroopers. Sorry, l think it would be better a stick at a time myself....and the air transport points for each turn may not always fly everybody. Sometimes you have to prioritize what you want dropped. Just like there's a limit to rail points there's a limit to air points and only so many transports are available to fly the paratroopers and it's abstracted a lot. You may have already noticed.

I think that you will see that there is a limit of air transport points (capacity) each day (turn). In the actual battle, there were units that arrived on day 2.
