Hi, new player here, just finished my first (non-tutorial) scenario which was Israel 48 which I enjoyed and I learned a lot.
So while i'm picking a new one to play I was wondering what scenarios have become your favourites so far?
also, if you have the scenario beaten or have played really bad will the game end prematurely or do we always have to play every turn until the end?
Cheers,
Marc.

I am a relatively new player but Sicily to Brenner Pass is a very well balanced and fun scenario...

+1
Also, My favorite is
D21 but that's a monster and I'd reccommend a smaller one at first. So you don't quit your game from lack of patience. When I have an hour to spare and I need some raw fun I do the little, quick scenairo called:
B41_lgf_5.7 Barbarosa which you can find here:

Good hunting.
friends,
larry

Greetings, for your first question, I am fan of WWII warfare. But I also enjoy some modern and pre-modern scenarios. I am currently gaming two games both Bulge 44. I like the small unit actions, which historically, comprised most of that battle. I prefer divisional and under, relishing battalion and company level with hours to a week game turns. I am watering at the mouth for the FITE 2 scenario, but I am not there mentally yet for that monster scenario. For your second question you can always resign a game, it is an option via PBEM ++. But you get better either win or lose, but if you are no longer having fun, just let your opponent know that you are surrendering and request protection under the Geneva Conventions. [:D] [:D]

I'm a new player (relatively) and am also interested in people's favorites.
Just finished Balkans 12. Enjoyed it. Easy win as Ottomans, building a line of fortification near the objectives to the north of Constantinople. Then built another line at the western end of the rail line that comes from Constantinople to protect supply line. Fortified the objectives to the west and played defense, mainly defending the rail line.
Attacking as the Balkan League was much harder.

I've been enjoying 'Finland 41'. Not too large, and a good introduction to many features. A bit grindy, but also allows for some strategic movement and encircling. Also a good primer for dealing with low supply and the need to get supply lines repaired.

Mine was the Fulda gap one from the earlier versions of the game. Now, I'm not sure. I am enjoying fighting my way through parts of desert and Western Europe ...
